We had a fantastic stay with beautiful views of the Tröllaskagi mountains. The kids loved hiking around the fjord while my girlfriend and I enjoyed the easy access to horse riding options. Freya’s homemade lamb stew was definitely a highlight of our trip.
My wife says that more options for kids at breakfast would be great.

Loved the clean and comfortable Double or Twin Room with stunning views. Totally felt cozy after camping out in the car park waiting for the check-in. at least we weren't cold! Plus, the vibe in the building was super chill, making it a unique experience.
The check-in was a bit of a wild ride. we rolled up to an empty place and had to wait a while for access. Weird, but it added to the adventure of our stay!

8/10
Totally loved this place! The breakfast spread was, like, super legit—fresh fruit, bread, and all the good stuff till 10! Our room was clean and cozy, and the vibe was just chill. Met the manager who shared some rad Icelandic stories while we sipped drinks. Wish there were more dining spots around though!

the check-in was absoultely bizarre, standing around in an empty building with no one to greet me was a treat. the tiny bathroom felt like a closet, definitely not what i signed up for. i thought i’d at least get a complimentary upgrade, but i guess that’s too much to ask for. just couldn’t give a good review here.

The location near the ferry to Grimsey was awesome—the views of the mountains and water were breathtaking!

Couples will find this gem cozy
What a charming place, the manager was great, he even shared tales of Iceland while we enjoyed some drinks in the lobby. Breakfast was served until 10 which was perfect for lazy mornings, fresh fruit and bread, just what you need before a long day of exploring.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but really not bad for what we got.

Clean, neat, and comfortable rooms. Breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks and blue ocean in every direction.
Check-in was a strange experience—had to wait in an empty building for access. No elevator for second-floor rooms, which can be a hassle. Room cleanliness wasn't up to par—no one cleaned during our two-night stay, and toiletries were lacking. Also, tiny bathrooms feel cramped.
